Low carbon steel coil
Hot-rolled coils can also be called hot coils, which are strips made of slabs (mainly continuous casting slabs) and heated by rough rolling units and finishing rolling units, generally including medium-thick and wide steel strips, hot-rolled Rolling thin wide steel strip and hot rolled sheet. The hot steel strip coming out of the last rolling stand of finishing rolling is cooled to the set temperature by laminar flow, and rolled into a steel strip coil by a coiler. Common materials are Q235B, Q345B, SPHC, 510L, Q345A, Q345E, etc., mainly used in construction, machinery, pressure vessels, bridges and other industries.
Advantages of hot rolled coil:
1. It has a high strength-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for construction and shipbuilding.
2. Highly resistant to corrosion and wear, very suitable for pressure vessels and piping systems.
3. It has excellent weldability and formability, making it suitable for various manufacturing processes.
Cold rolling is rolling under recrystallization, but is generally understood as rolling using room temperature rolling material. Cold rolled coils in the production process as a result of not heating, so there is no hot rolled often occurring pitting and iron oxide and other defects, good surface quality, high finish. Moreover, the dimensional accuracy of cold rolled products is high, and the performance and organization of the products can meet some special requirements for use, such as electromagnetic properties, deep drawing properties.
Specifications: thickness 0.2-4mm, width 600-2000mm, steel plate length 1200-6 000mm.
Grade: Q195A-Q235A, Q195AF-Q235AF, Q295A(B)-Q345A(B); SPCC, SPCD, SPCE, ST12-15; DC01-06
Performance: Low carbon steel grades are mainly used, which require good cold bending and welding performance, as well as certain stamping performance.
Cold rolled thin steel plate is an abbreviation for cold rolled sheet of ordinary carbon structural steel, also known as cold rolled plate, commonly known as cold plate, sometimes misspelled as cold rolled plate. Cold plate is made from ordinary carbon structural steel hot rolled steel strip, after further cold rolling made of steel plate with a thickness of less than 4mm. Due to rolling at room temperature, does not produce iron oxide, therefore, cold plate surface quality, high dimensional accuracy, coupled with annealing, its mechanical properties and process performance are better than hot rolled sheet, in many areas, especially in the field of home appliance manufacturing, has gradually used it to replace the hot rolled sheet.
Applicable grades: Q195, Q215, Q235, Q275; SPCC (Japanese grades); ST12 (German grades)
Classification of hot rolled coils:
Hot-rolled coils can be divided into: straight hair coils and finishing coils (divided coils, flat coils, slit coils);
According to different materials and properties, it can be divided into: ordinary carbon structural steel, low alloy steel, alloy steel;
According to different uses, it can be divided into: cold forming steel, structural steel, automobile structural steel, corrosion-resistant structural steel, mechanical structural steel, welded gas cylinder and pressure vessel steel, pipeline steel, etc.
Cold rolled steel plate classification:
Cold rolled ordinary thin steel plate: cold rolled from ordinary carbon structural steel or low alloy structural steel.
Cold-rolled high-quality thin steel plate: mainly including a variety of high-quality steel cold-rolled thin steel plate, the most commonly used carbon structural steel plate.
Cold rolled steel plate: smooth surface, excellent processing, used in automobiles, refrigerators, washing machines and other home appliances, as well as industrial equipment, a variety of construction materials.
Cold Rolled Hard Coil: Continuous rolling of hot rolled pickled coils at room temperature.
